Concourse B-4 Gate Expansion - Dulles, VA

The Concourse B - 4 Gate Expansion features a 2½-story structural steel facility designed for efficiency and future adaptability. The building incorporates a hybrid structural system, combining a steel moment frame with a braced frame, enhanced by architecturally exposed custom-made columns and trusses. These structural elements provide both aesthetic appeal and long-term durability.

Designed for seamless expansion, the facility supports all modern airport functions while accommodating future growth. The structure allows for modular additions, with provisions in place for at least 12 additional gates, minimizing operational disruptions to the terminal. This forward-thinking design ensures flexibility for future passenger capacity increases while maintaining smooth airport operations.
